2 Axis Synchronization and Motion Controllers
The BY340 and 641 are stand alone high performance low cost motion controllers specifically designed for 2 axis synchronization for speed and position. The BY340 monitors the speed and phase of the master drive/motor and controls the corresponding speed and phase of the slave drive/motor. The display can show the speed of the machinery or conveyer eliminating the need for a separate HMI. Setup is easy using the free operating software or the front panel. Applications include transfer conveyers, bottling applications, punching, printing, etc. The BY340 synchronous controller with its compact 96 x 48 x 140 millimeter (3.78 x 1.89 x 5.51") DIN housing is suitable for small panel installation as well as small machinery installation because of the low price. The BY340 allows the speed ratio via keypad and has a ± 10 V or 0/4 to 20 mA analog output, 4 programmable limit values for transistor switching outputs as well as a serial RS232 interface. The precision single-axis controllers of the BY series have excellent control characteristics and are suitable for use on speed-controlled drives with analog setpoints. It provides angle or ratio synchronization with adjustable transmission factors and phase positions as well as trimming and indexing functions for adjusting the relative position between the axes are just some of the numerous available functions and features of these devices. On the fly phase adjustments and trimming can be done using the front panel.
The BY641 allows speed ratios to be changed using the thumbwheel switches. Addtionally, the 641 provides 4 relay outputs in addition to the high speed transistor outputs.

High Performance Low Cost Controller for Rotating Sealers, Cutters, Punchers and Printing Rolls
The CT340 / CT641 have been designed for maximum efficiency and accuracy, with minimum stress for all mechanical parts for rotating systems. Very short control cycles together with intelligent motion profiles provide excellent performance under all operating conditions.
The units are very easy to set up. All settings can be made either by keypad and display at the unit or by PC, with use of the free Motrona operator software.
All relevant operational parameters and variables are accessible by RS232/RS485 interface. For PROFIBUS applications, our PB251 gateway is available. The user has multiple possibilities for remote control of all batch and cutting parameters via operator terminals, PC or PLC systems.
Flying Shear & Traveling Saw Controllers
The basic operation of "Flying Shears / Traveling Saws" is that a carriage with a cutting tool follows synchronously the material while the cut is in progress, and then returns to a home position, to wait for the next cut. The FS340 / FS641 are suitable for control of "Flying Shears" and "Flying Saws" frequently used for cut-to-length in continuous motion applications,
