The Connectric Length Measurement System is a versatile, accurate standalone system designed to provide easy measurement and length control of various materials like plastics, wood, paper, metal etc. The self contained system provides accurate measurement in meters, feet or inches. The system is modular and designed to meet customer’s specific needs. For example, the system can provide information on total length, feed speed, time of operation etc. Optional outputs can be provided at total preset lengths to signal indicators that the preset total lengths have been reached. LCD or highly visible LED displays provide readouts to operators.
A special feature with the LED counter permits simultaneous preset length and batch control. For example, one can set the length and the quantity of cuts. The system will provide a cut signal for every preset length, reset the cut length to zero for repeated cuts, and provide a separate signal when the batch quantity has been reached. This can be used to stop the process. It reduces operator intervention and error. The system is designed for easy installation on existing or new machinery.
