Product Focus - Low Cost Fully Featured Encoder Simulator
The UZ210 can be used as a versatile low cost encoder simulator to provide SSI, incremental encoder, or RS232 outputs. It uses simple analogue or digital control signals or a PC to control frequency or positional outputs. It can also be set up to use a simple potentiometer for control.
Features include:
- Forward and reverse signals
- Low and high values programmable
- Ramp up and ramp down times programmable from .001 to 99.999 secs (simulate soft start and soft stop)
- Programmable curves with optionally repeating cycle curves
- Jog up and down
Applications include encoder simulator for frequency (speed) or position, test benches, test labs, QC, PLC system program verification, testing machinery operation in the early stages of maufacture to speed up testing and troubleshooting, simulating repeating cycles, troubleshooting during machine maintenance, etc.
